    The Khazanah Lestari Scholarship Programme is established to further fulfill the talent gap in the country in a more holistic manner by providing myriad opportunities to those wanting to pursue academic and executive enrichment programmes on sustainability development and ensuring the needs for future of works is addressed accordingly.

    This Programme is only open to Malaysian Degree holders who wish to pursue their Masters Programme and have obtained admission to pursue studies at approved universities based on the Top 50 universities globally on QS ranking.

    This scholarship will support the tuition fee, living allowance, a round trip economy class ticket, medical insurance, and alumni & network support.

  • Eligibility
    1
    Applicants must be Malaysian.
    2
    Obtained a minimum of Second Class Lower Division (UK and Australia University) or where there is a point system, obtained a minimum CGPA of 2.70 for Bachelor's Degree.

    Applicants must not exceed 60 years of age at the enrolment date for the Master’s Degree.

    The applicant must possess at least two years of relevant professional experience in the related areas and be committed to society for example, active participation in the student council, youth work, participation in associations and NGO that are appropriate.

    Apart from academic performance, the recipients will be chosen based on their extracurricular activities and leadership qualities.

    Prospective awardees are expected to show a strong interest in the development related issues, which is supposed to be reflected in the choice of study fields, prior work experience, voluntary activities.

    Some of the fields of subject comprises - Community Development, Sustainable Development, Health Community Development Studies, Natural Resource Management, Natural Resources Law, Social Justice, Poverty Reduction, Migration, Gender Studies, Climate Change, Food Security, Renewable Energy, Environment, Urbanisation, Health, Human Rights, Conflict Resolution, International Relations, Governance, and more.

      Obtained a minimum of 8As (combination of A and A+) in the recent SPM examination or at least 8As in the recent IGCSE.

      Obtained A or A+ in the following core subjects: Bahasa Melayu, English, History and Mathematics (only for SPM).

      Not exceeding 18 years of age at the enrolment date for the foundation studies.
      *Successful applications will be sent to Kolej Yayasan UEM (KYUEM) to pursue A-Level Programme
    • Master's Degree
      1
      Obtained a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (UK and Australia University) or where there is a point system, obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.50 for Bachelor's Degree
      2
      Obtained admission to pursue studies at renowned universities (Conditional offer can be considered)
      3
      Not exceeding 40 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Master's programme
      4
      To provide research outline/ thesis summary (Research or mixed mode)
    • PhD
      1
      Obtained a distinction or 'A' grade average or equivalent (if there is a point systems) for Master's Degree
      2
      Obtained admission or currently pursuing studies at Yayasan Khazanah's approved universities in the United States of America, United Kingdom or Australia (Conditional offer can be considered)
      3
      Not exceeding 40 years as at the enrolment date for the Doctorate programme
      4
      To provide research outline / thesis summary on the topic they intend to pursue in the Doctorate programme
      5
      Currently working at Khazanah's bond serving institutions which includes but not limited to Khazanah-Linked Company (KLC), Government-Linked Company (GLC), Public Universities, Government bodies or agencies. Upon completion of studies, the candidates are to return back to their current employers to serve their bond.
