The Khazanah Watan Scholarship – Equity Pathway Programme is designed to support and empower the next generation of Malaysian talent, recognising the untapped potential among students from underserved communities who may face barriers in accessing quality education.
This initiative is open to
post-SPM students from households within the B40 income category, generally defined by reference to prevailing benchmarks issued by the Department of Statistics Malaysia, currently indicating a
combined household income of RM 5,249 and below, subject to verification and such guidelines as may be determined from time to time.
At Yayasan Khazanah, we believe that potential should not be limited by circumstance and the Programme is intended to identify and support eligible candidates with demonstrated potential, taking into account a range of factors beyond academic results alone. All applications will be assessed based on a holistic set of criteria, which may include academic performance, leadership qualities, personal attributes, and socio-economic background.
Participation in the Programme is not automatic and does not constitute an entitlement. All applications are subject to a competitive selection process, and the final decision rests solely with Yayasan Khazanah, in accordance with its internal evaluation framework, policies, and available resources.
Yayasan Khazanah reserves the right to apply additional criteria, request further information, and exercise discretion in the assessment and selection process to ensure alignment with the objectives of the Programme.
